Not only does Zorita de los Canes have a fantastic castle, no. The Tagus River at the foot of the town and the peculiar entrance, which directly overlooks the Church of San Juan, makes it a very charming place, where you can also eat or have a drink on the banks of the river (they are really careful , very beautiful) and with spectacular views, on one side of the river and on the other side of the castle. Detail of the entrance to the old part of Zorita, reference to Don Camilo José Cela from his time in the town and his book "Viaje a la Alcarria"

Church of San Juan Bautista. It is located in the Plaza de España, a few meters from the entrance to the bathing area. In the upper part we find the castle of Zorita de los Canes. A charming town. A totally recommendable visit.

Small, but very lovingly maintained and full of history. There is only one Office a week, which is Saturday at sunset. Confirm winter / summer time. It is worth going to Mass.
