It is located in the Municipality of Lupiana (Guadalajara), an old town located about 70 km from Madrid. This Church dates from the 16th century, its Gothic style being in transition to the Renaissance, its Plateresque façade and the coffered ceiling inside stand out. To get there we will have to leave the means of transportation in the Plaza where the Town Hall is located and a pillory "monument where prisoners were hung at the time of villains" and climb a steep hill. Currently, a large number of weddings are held, so if we are interested in it, it must be booked well in advance.

Beautiful church that from the top of the town watches over it.

Gothic church from the end of the XV or beginning of the XVI with Renaissance decorations from around 1520-1530. It has three naves with semicircular arches with Gothic moldings and vegetal capitals. The largest is roofed with a coffered ceiling with starry lattices. The triumphal arch follows these same characteristics. The presbytery is covered with two starred ribbed vaults with warps and terraces and two scallops at the corners. The presbytery has pilasters with grotesques and harpies and a continuous frieze with this same decoration. It has two covers: the southern one, the main one, a Renaissance with a rounded arch with Corinthian columns and medallions in the spandrels of San Pablo and San Pedro (?). Frieze with grotesque decoration, putti, chalices and taps that ends in a niche where the image of Saint Peter was. The western cover is Gothic with a molded semicircular arch. The tower and the sacristy are from the 17th century, in a post-Baroque style.
