Jewel of the Romanesque in absolute state of abandonment by pure negligence of our politicians. Although it was the church of Villaescusa de Palositos now it is inside a private estate that prevents its visit. They only allow access once a year
Ambrosio Prieto Gutierrez (06/26/2018)
It's okay.
Antonio HERRERA CASADO (06/15/2017)
This church of Villaescusa de Palositos is a medieval religious building, built in the thirteenth century, which even has an inscription carved in an ashlar in which it says that it was made and directed by a stonemason or master named "Guillem". It has a single nave, a semicircular apse, a simple doorway with arquvoltas decorated with balls at noon, and a belfry with three bays on the west wall. It is declared BIC (Property of Cultural Interest) but having been included in a particular agrarian farm, its visit is not allowed by legal and customary means, but it requires a trip on foot, complicated, jumping fences, etc. This church is an evident example of the abandonment in which a certain part of the monumental heritage of Castile is currently. It needs a strong support, on the part of those responsible for Culture, to restore it and, at least, avoid its imminent collapse.

Or as a Romanesque treasure is abandoned at the whim of a landowner. It doesn't exist anymore.
