This small chapel, dedicated to St. Lucia, houses an image of Saint Ignatius lying down, representing the 8-day "rapture" in which he fell during his stay in Manresa. The chapel occupies the place of the old pilgrims' hospital, located outside the walls to provide assistance and shelter to travelers, the sick without resources, etc. In this hospital, San Ignacio spent a good part of the time he was in Manresa and it was here that, according to his account, he fell in an ecstasy that lasted 8 days.

Located in the old Santa Llúcia hospital, demolished during the Civil War, this chapel recalls one of the miracles performed by Saint Ignatius of Loyola during his stay in the city in the 16th century: a spiritual rapture, during which he remained immobile during eight days, it is in that trance when God transmitted to him how the Society of Jesus had to be. He lived for some time in this place and went to meditate in the well-known cave, it is believed that it was here that he wrote his famous spiritual exercises, since in the cave it had to be very difficult to write. It currently preserves the Gothic portal and a reclining sculpture of Saint Ignatius, which was already venerated before the Civil War. The area is under construction.
