In this square and on the modernist route of Manresa we find this impressive building, there is a scale model of it in a shop window in it, the Casa Torrents, popularly known as La Buresa, is a large modernist building designed by the Manresa architect Ignasi Oms i Ponsa in 1908. It was commissioned by the Torrents family of businessmen, one of the most important industrial sagas in the city. Conceived in the style of a large Neo-Gothic palace in the interior there are still houses that preserve the original modernist decoration.
