(San Román or Great Area). SPECTACULAR beach and landscape of rock formations, with dunes, cliffs and beautiful coves. It is very extensive at low tide, with fine white sand and quite clean, with showers and footbaths at the various entrances, but in July 2020 there were no lifeguards or bathroom flags. It is 200m from the LU-862 road, with little information about the beach, whose entrance surprises after a steep slope, in the direction from Viveiro to O Vicedo. Several live streams are connected in the vicinity of the beach. There are bridges and cobbled walks with wooden fences, a hiking trail with shelter huts, a playground and a parking lot around a beach restaurant that is not very clean and is very customer-oriented.

Of the most beautiful beaches I've seen. At low tide you can see the rocks called Os Castelos that are spectacular.
