I want to publicly thank the great help provided by the civil protection volunteers on the occasion of the Filomena snowfall. In my personal case, for taking me back home on Saturday 9 at noon from the hospital where I had to be taken by the local police after suffering a fall and breaking my wrist, no matter how difficult the road was. The volunteers, (RAV4, callsign 51 or 53 perhaps) who had been taking people to the hospital and back home from the previous day without stopping, only returned to their base to recharge the batteries of mobiles and walkies. Many times they seem part of the scenery of the events they attend, but in these situations their great human and professional quality can be seen. Thanks a lot.
