This dam called del Cayo, is a weir whose purpose was to derive the dammed water, through the regulation gates, through a gutter to the mill on the island of the College and then until the end of the gutter for the return of the water to the river Henares It is a beautiful place to visit, listen to the noise of the water and see the many ducks that are usually in the area
