Casa Rural Urrezko Ametsa

Superb - this is a new venture for the owners and they are justifiably proud of it. Our satellite navigation took us on a route march up some pretty hairy roads to get there but actually, when you are on the right road, it is a great location for the Bilbao ferry. Dog-friendly, too - we have a doberman and finding places in Spain that will accept large dogs is very difficult. The room was large and well finished and the beautifully cooked evening meal very much appreciated.

The value for your money. Most kind treatment from the personnel. I went with two dogs and we were most welcome, and the fenced garden was simply fantastic. I will most certainly repeat.

Spent 2 days here at the end of an epic tour of Spain. It was peaceful and relaxing and the rural position and views were great. I hope to go again and use this spot as my centre for exploring Basque country.
