Group of lagoons (protected by the Law of Humid Zones of the Community of Madrid) located at the foot of the emblematic granite elevations of Las Machotas or Los Ermitaños. They are located in one of the resting places of the Colada de la Encrucijada, so this beautiful place served as a stop and watering point for the herds that transhumed through the nearby Cañada Real Leonesa These lagoons are natural spaces of great ecological value due to the uniqueness and variety of their flora and fauna. A place of great ecological fragility. The habitats in this environment are permanent wetlands, ash groves, holm oak meadows and Mediterranean scrub.

A beautiful, quiet place and the lagoons when they have water are beautiful, with ducks, etc.

At this time of the year there is no water, but the site is beautiful. Recommended for a walk on the cattle route
