It is quiet and there are some beautiful chestnut trees.

All a bit contradictory. The place is beautiful, among chestnut trees. It is accessed from Zarzalejo, on foot, but the road is not well signposted. The fountain itself is rather ugly with a pipe of quite visual impact. On March 1 it was dry. The most interesting thing is the inscription on a huge granite bolus

It is natural drinking water, it is cool in summer, it tends to endure throughout the summer period. It is 10 minutes walk from the car. Easy to reach but it is only accessible walking and you have to climb a couple of sections with slope. It is located in the area of the chestnut trees next to a singular specimen.

Spring source that usually has water almost all year round, in August 2019, no water flowed due to the drought. The road is made from Zarzalejo town following the street of the king's fountain. The street becomes a dirt road but can be driven slowly by car. Finally you have to continue on foot along a path and steep rock climb that does not do it for all audiences and not suitable for reduced mobility. It must be on a private estate since there are fences that hinder the passage.

Beautiful walk at any time of the year.
