It is a magnificent place. It has beautiful views, is well maintained and cared for and is in a beautiful setting. The visit is free, there is only to call to make the reservation. The guide is very good and joins super nice and helpful person. A recommended visit.
Carlos Alberto Martínez Martínez (11/02/2020)
Nice convent located in an extraordinary setting, with a unique church in the Community of Madrid and which claims to be the oldest of this. Of Romanesque origin, although it is believed to have been built on Visigothic remains. Remains of the Elizabethan Gothic cloister remain. The visits are free and guided, always with reservation and at the times established for it.

It is a spectacular site for its atmosphere and landscape. The church is the only one in the Romanesque style that is completely preserved in the Community of Madrid. Its beauty is in its simplicity.

Magnificent, with an impressive history and in perfect condition. Unique Romanesque church in Spain in a very natural environment. It can be accessed by car but you have to book a visit
Miguel de Gonzalo (10/05/2020)
Beautiful miniature monastery whose construction began in the 11th century, thus being the first church that has been preserved in the Community of Madrid. Located in a privileged enclave of the Sierra de la Cabrera at an altitude of 1200 meters, extraordinary views and a small Romanesque church with a cross plan and five tiny apses that is a true wonder. In addition to masses on Sundays and holidays, you can visit and also attend the innumerable concerts and cultural events organized by the idente parents who run it. A true unknown gem that is worth discovering.
