Small winery but with very good wines

The explanation of the wines and the cellar is good. The tasting a little poor. Very expensive. In other wineries in the area they also show you the vineyards for half the price of tasting here. The wines were not at the right temperature because it was very cold and we were about 20 people, too many people ... It is not worth it in those conditions. The good thing is that they give you tickets to the castle of San Martín.

We knew their wines (we especially like the 30,000 maravedíes) so, going through the M501, we dared to turn off and stop at the winery, where they have a small store to sell all their references, in normal size and magnum. We asked about the different wines since, apart from the mentioned maravedíes, we did not know any other; And the person who was attending us did not know how to explain anything beyond the type of grape of each one (which was written on the label). We asked if they had any to try and get an idea, and they offered us a tasting of the two cheapest wines (the 30,000 maravedíes and the Picarana, real albillo blanco) for € 5, which we rejected apart from because it seemed expensive, because One of the wines was precisely the one we already knew. Finally we bought three bottles, and when we got home we were surprised to see that the prices in the winery (€ 11 for 30000 maravedíes, and € 13 for Picarana) are the same that appear on the websites of the main Madrid stores, both wine cellars as large surfaces. Given that they did not know how to explain anything about the wines, the tasting they offered us seemed very basic and expensive, and that the price of the wines to buy is the same as in any store in Madrid, I see no reason why it deserves the worth visiting the winery.
