If you have any other option then don't eat here. Waitress was playing on her phone next to the bar so I didn't realise she actually worked there and waited until one of the other patrons pointed to her. The menu was scrawled on a notepad, the first course was overcooked pasta but was edible, the second was barely edible overcooked pork and fries, the third was a microwaved piece of supermarket torta de manzana (Apple pie). If I wasn't starving I'd have walked out.

My family ate here last year, while walking the Camino de Santiago. The food was great, and Catalina, the hostess, was incredibly friendly and kind. After hearing some locals sing "Happy Birthday" in Basque, our friend , Mark, got us singing the same to them in English. It was well received and led to a great evening meal and great company. I'd highly recommend this place to any tourists or peregrinos passing through Obanos!

A familiar site. With very good food and excellent treatment. The terrace is great for having a drink with friends or family as it is very well insulated from the heat. With background music and fast service.
