From the top of the hill where the hermitage is located, we have a beautiful view of the entire region of castrourdiales, the port, and the Cantabrian city. Surrounded by the Cantabrian sea, it is a good viewpoint to observe the birds and seagulls that come up to the doors of the church.

Very modest hermitage, at the top, but the best are the views from above, to the sea, the port and the beautiful town of Castro Urdiales, you access it, through a staircase, and at the entrance, they took our temperature and we They threw hydrogel to disinfect our hands, and once inside, they gave us an explanation about Castro Urdiales and its history. And there is inside the hermitage, which can be seen through a glass on the floor, Roman remains, and a modest altar, with an image. You also enter through one door and exit through another, because of the covid. You have the indications to follow, at the door, of the hermitage before entering. Totally Recommended, for the views from the hermitage.

Ermita de Santa Ana is next to the San Guillén ramp, ideal for sunbathing and bathing.

Beautiful hermitage located on top of a setting beautiful on the sea, next to the imposing church sia of Santa María de la Asuncion. you see the little barred access door this ba closed. From this point there are great views over the sea the city, the castle and the church previously mentioned.

The building itself does not attract attention, the best of it are the views available to be located between the coast and the Castle of Santa Ana. If we climb its stairs we can enjoy beautiful views and take some photos. During my trip the gate was closed, I am not sure if it can be visited.
