It is a monument to the Virgin of Puerto who guards the fishermen who leave the bay every day towards the sea. The place offers an unbeatable view of the Bay of Santoña, and the banks of the river Asón. It can be accessed by stairs at the end of the promenade or by its upper part by car, if the path is open.

Beautiful views of the bay and Laredo, ideal for a good walk, after a good meal in the various restaurants of Santoña.

It is a wonderful place with spectacular views. We have gone with the children a couple of times and we will go for sure. In addition there is a lovely route to do on foot.
