Santa Maria de Valldossera

Simple and well-kept church, very quiet place with hiking trails. It also has a picnic area !!

The church of Santa Maria is located to the north of the region of Alt Camp. It is a rectangular, single-nave building, flat apse and tiled roof on two sides. The ship is covered with vault of tube with lunettes. The interior is painted white, with the corresponding parts of the bows arches, support pilasters and the impost line painted in yellow. Externally, the church has two adjacent bodies, one on each side, with a tile roof on one side. The façade, with symmetrical and very simple composition, shows, centered, a doorway with a veil of half-pointed arch with stone jambs made of padded scaffolds. The key to the arch is the date of 1685. On the door there is a painted sun clock the rest of the plaster and painting of the façade has disappeared at present. The façade is crowned with a belfry belfry with two levels of openings.
