We were on the first day of a city trip to Valencia, Spain, when our daughter spotted an all white cat in Turia park, and it was love at first sight. Turia park, and other gardens, are filled with abandoned and stray cats This cat was the only one with some trust in humans and was willing to be petted. During the whole 5 day visit our daughter fed and cuddled this cat, thinking of a way to adopt her and bring her to the Netherlands. After asking several people about animal welfare organisations, or adoption programs, finding out there were none, she became sad, fearing she would be forced to leave this cat behind when returing to the Netherlands. During our last day in Valencia she decided to try and ask a veterenarian if there was any way to save or adopt this cat. We came upon Clinica Veterinaria Atalaya, at the Av. de Tirso de Molina, 20, 46015, València. The fine veterenarians of Clinica Atalaya offered her all the help she needed. They told her if she could find the cat and bring her tot he clinica, they would inspect, treat, vaccinate and chip her, and fullfil all the neccesary paperwork. So our daughter took off tot Turia park with a borrowed transport cage. The first trip was unsuccesfull, and because the clinic would close at 14:00h, she returned the cage with a heavy heart. But Marga and Sylvia immeadiatly stated there were no closing hours for anyone willing to save one of the abandoned street cats of Valencia. They offered to stay all afternoon if necessary, and so our daughter went on a second, this time succesfull, hunting trip. Marga, Sylvia, and two assistants, sacrificed their break to help our daughter with all the steps needed to adopt the abandoned cat, who is now called Pebbles. Unfortunately the animal adoption regulations in the Netherlands didn’t allow our daughter to take Pebbles straight home, so Sylvia and Marga arranged a foster place at a volunteer’s house for Pebbles to stay until incubation time was over. When transport was allowed, our daughter returned to Valencia to collect Pebbles and flew back the same day. Without the spontanious offer to help from everyone of Clinica Veterinaria Atalaya, this adoption mission would never have been possible. Sylvia and Marga, and of course your fine assistants, thank you all so much for making this a succesfull tiny adoption mission! Pebbles is truly happy in her new home, with her cat-brother Toet and all the toys and food she can dream of!.

Very good deal. Excellent surgeon. With sterilization he has a wound that does not reach one cm. She had a great recovery and I followed up on her, which is very reassuring. My cat is great with Silvia. From the first day I took it, I am very happy.

Excellent clinic, wonderful doctors. Thank you very much! We took it on the very first day, we were very attentive to the cat. If you treat your favorites, then only here! And in terms of cost, everything is very rational.

Very good professionals Marga, Silvia and their assistant provide excellent human treatment. They go out of their way for your pet even after hours, which is a peace of mind. For all this I recommend them.
