Excellent place. Church converted into a museum. They should give more use. Tarazona is receiving more and more visitors and this space should be more used
Jose Carlos Gago (11/03/2019)
It is a building constructed in masonry, brick and masonry composed of three naves, the central one wider than the lateral ones, separated by cruciform pillars, of three sections each and covered by barrel vaults with moons and edges. It consists of a cruise, polygonal header of five cloths that is covered with a vaulted furnace vault, and high choir at the feet. Its facade, with very moving lines, completely baroque, presents three streets, announcing what we will find inside. The cover has two bodies and is topped by the coat of arms of Tarazona supported by two angels.

The Church of San Atilano de Tarazona was built between 1744 and 1769, in the Baroque style, on the site of the saint's birthplace in the Cinto neighborhood. Disaffected from worship, it houses the San Atilano Cultural Space. If the hermitage of the Virgen del Rio is consecrated to the patron saint of the city, this temple is dedicated to the patron saint of the city, being built on the site where her birthplace was (it was also here the old Visigothic cathedral). It is baroque in style and currently lacks worship, housing the Cultural Space San Atilano.
