Badia Bistro

We spent two weeks in this hotel. The place is amazing ,the view it's stunning.You are sorrounded by hills and you get a real sense of peace . The Badia bistro is opened all day and you can enjoy lunch looking at the pool or dinner with a beautiful Sea-view Looking at the sunset. The food for me is Michelin starred worthy without trying to be over-pretentius.I would like to spend a couple of words for the staff in general.Rarely we have seen so much attention to details and a real passion put into their jobs not to mention the charm and the happiness during service, really put a smile on your face on a daily basis . A special mention to David,Junior and Sara you guys really made us feel at home.You are all top class . Professional and more importantly really nice people we are going to miss you. I'm usually not the one who likes to write a lot of reviews. But I really have to say a few bars about this bistro / ambience. First and foremost the location ..... Just gorgeous. The property (you can't call it any other way) is located in the middle of a huge olive grove, with eeeewig old olive trees, so that the journey is already an experience. The house is elevated so that when the weather is nice you can look into all the surrounding bays. The bistro itself is typically Mediterranean and very modern / comfortably furnished. But the most beautiful thing is simply on the terrace with the breathtaking view. The food: we were lucky enough to eat there for a few days. The à la carte menu offers something for every taste. I personally like the Cesar Salat and the Solomillo very much. Both are definitely recommended. Often there is also a recommendation of the day, such as a whole salt-crusted sea bass or a tomahawk steak, so there is always variety in the game. Everything was always very fresh and always top quality. The wine list completes everything. There is really a large selection of good wines. Anyone who still has to go home here is actually missing something :-) All in all, the visits were always completely "round" and in keeping with the ambience and flair of a five star hotel. The service: very courteous and friendly. The recommendations for the aperitif and the accompanying wines were always very competent and appropriate. Only refilling could have been a bit faster. ;-) What I personally found absolutely great ... We were there with a 4 year old child. Normally one could assume that the child is a little "out of place" in such an atmosphere. But far from it. The service was so fond of children and great that we didn't feel "out of place" in any way. Perhaps lastly a word about the “current situation”: Which, to be honest, particularly impressed me. After each visit, not only were the tables disinfected, but also the chairs and armrests. Masks were always worn in an exemplary manner (yes! Also over the mouth AND nose) and all in all, a concept is lived here that always makes the guest feel safe. To be honest, I miss that in a lot of other restaurants. Conclusion: the visit made me give my first rating on google and give it 5 stars. That means something, right?
