The local people are nice! The beach is great and less crowded. Plenty of bakeries, fruits stores and restaurants. However, the opening time are a bit tricky, specially with the restaurants. We had to adapt to the Catalunya lunch time.
The reason of 2 starts? Well, the locals have a lot of dogs and the all town feels like a dog toilet. People do not collet and waste properly the dogs s.....! And every corner the dogs urine smell horribly!!! The situation is really disgusting!! I spent more time looking at the street than to the stores itself.
The main market needs a total renovation.
Canet de Mar has a lot of potential but it is abandoned.
A great beach front town with reasonable prices for food and lodging.
