After obtaining assistance from multiple staff members of Ibis Hotel Barcelona Santa Coloma who have said "tried their best" to help me recover my cellphone left in a taxi with no results after more than 48 hours, I decided to go to the nearest police station to report the matter, hoping against hopes, to get my mobile phone back before I journey to Marseille, and as my stars and planets were perfectly aligned today, the lady police staff turned out to be very helpful and accommodating, spoke decent English, and barely an hour after I left the station, I got a call from her telling me that she was able to contact the taxi company/operator. Muchos gracias to the lady police staff on duty at 11AM of April 4, 2019 at Mossos D'esquadras Santa Coloma Gramenet who resolved the matter in less than 2 hours, and to Señor Sergio for coming to the hotel to deliver the phone personally, and for bringing us to Barcelona Sants station to catch our train to Marseille. God is great. God is great.

Pathetic, my disappointing conversation (not to call it monologue by the "mossu") ... He seemed to be a boy grumbling with the sole intention of ending as a moral winner in a situation that is difficult for everyone ...
