Impressive building from the end of the s. XV, very well preserved, with an ornate façade, to the south, with late Gothic portico. It presents two medallions that honor the benefactors of its construction, as well as an image of Santiago el Mayor, apostle of Spain, and patron of the temple. On the north facade we find a small Romanesque portico, dotted with moss in winter, reminding us of the purest Romanesque of the North. We can also see, in the walls that support the tower, some stonemasons, as in the great European cathedrals.

A beautiful church A must if you come to this town in La Mancha.

Because it is the church of my town and it is considered the most beautiful of Campo de Montiel.
