In the middle of a desolate wasteland, surrounded by cultivated fields, there is a necropolis where the Turmogos, a Celtic tribe, buried their dead 2,500 years ago. It is well documented through informational signs and the place is worth it. It is reached after a short walk from the town of Ubierna.

One of the most important sites of the Iron Age of the existing in the province of Burgos. More than one hundred tumuli (formed by circular structures of stone blocks, 2 to 5.5 meters in diameter) make up the whole. Many authors identify La Polera with the turmoga city of Bravum. The most characteristic element of the trousseau found here are the ceramic funerary urns.
