The Port Authority of A Coruña, where the IV Conference on Port Archives was inaugurated this morning, in which about fifty technicians from the port authorities of general interest of the State participate, announced in a statement that among the documents that are going To be digitized are the Dársena project (1865), the General Port Draft (1890) or the Historical and Descriptive Memory of the Port of A Coruña Works (1909).

Emblematic building in the current architecture of the city, although there are people who do not like it, it is part of the modern history of Coruña.

Headquarters building of the Port Authority of A Coruña. Previously it was called Obras del Puerto. The building is from the early 1950s of the 20th century. Tending to the monumentality and sobriety characteristic of the official buildings of that stage, it appears quite well integrated with the environment. Interesting.

We recommend getting to know the city by walking, cycling along the bike path, running or by tram through the Paseo Marítimo, the longest in Europe with more than 10 kilometers of route. A Coruña has more than two kilometers of beaches in the city. One step away, the beaches of Riazor, Orzán, Matadero, San Amaro, As Lapas and Oza. Coruña offers beautiful parks, gardens and small squares for contemplation or recreation. Public green spaces for walking, playing sports, learning, admiring ... Trees, varied species, floral richness and monuments to illustrious Galicians form these ideal places to spend an afternoon of leisure or simply relax outdoors. Its climatological characteristics make A Coruña a coastal city with a great richness and variety of flora and fauna.

Building without any architectural interest, ugly and poorly integrated with its surroundings
