At first glance it looks like a peculiar minicastillo. The Torre de Alarconcillos is not a defensive tower in itself, one of the different theories says that it is an astronomical observatory from medieval times. It is one of the three main towers that border Alarcón. This tower is undoubtedly the most original as it is a circular tower, surrounded in turn by four other circular towers of lesser height around it. The funny thing is that there is only one entrance and the gap is minimal. The outer towers are solid and only the central one is hollow and has a spiral staircase to access the top.

Very beautiful attraction, but the tower has been abandoned, which is a pity

This is an abandoned tower that is on the other side of the Rio Júcar, which meanders at this point - opposite the Parador de Alarcón. The tower is nice to look at and you can also hike there.

The tower is well preserved, but the best are the views that are seen from it. It is also part of a fantastic hiking trail.
