Spectacular view, with a small stall selling curios and ice cold drinks!

Very beatiful place, might be dangerous with children or dogs running free so I highly recommend to put them on leash. You might spot some climbers from the viewpoint, so as great variety of birds. Has approx. 20 parking spots.

The Devil’s Window is really very cool (literally and figuratively, the wind is real!), but my god did we have an experience getting to this place. I made the mistake of pulling the coordinates from Google maps and inputting them into the GPS. Apparently there is a secondary road, which I think is intended for hikers (or park personnel on 4-wheelers) that takes you down a rutted, steep dirt road the bottom of the deep valley gorge. This road leads to a hiking trail that leads you through a sketchy tunnel, parallel to the river, and eventually up a steep trail to the window. We parked and hiked through the tunnel and once we exited, I say the window directly in from of us at least 1,500 feet up. We turned around and went back to the car so we could try to navigate to the proper car park. The thing is, that road was really difficult to climb out of, and we almost didn’t make it. It was super isolated, so thank god we were able to figure it out, because without a cell or any help it would have been an issue. Once back onto the main road we continued and the actual car park was very easily accessible. The views were fantastic, and the eagles were riding the wind currents in all of their majesty. A truly wonderful place to stop – just don’t go down the dirt road!!!!
