Great place (well funded with EU transfer payments) for both adults and kids. All museum exhibitions are topnotch, while the BioDome was more interesting for our toddler than Fuengirola's Zoo.

We enjoyed the visit but were disappointed that quite a few areas were closed to us and we weren't told that on entry. What we saw we found interesting and enjoyable bug just felt a bit cheated.

Love it and you can keep coming back to see new things

Because of COVID-19, a lot of the exhibitions such as the butterfly house and the plantariums were closed, which was disappointing; however, the few exhibitions that WERE open made it all worth it! The BioDome is a must-see, with three distinct levels. The cages are very spacious and have no roof, so some animals (like the birds and monkeys) can fly out and walk around. The aquatic parts are very clean, and if you're lucky, you'll get to see the feedings. The space exhibition has some great space exploration artifacts and a very good collection of geological items. Their gardens are well-made and nicely labelled. Everything was very informative and interesting, in both Spanish and English. A lot of the exhibitions I saw had audioguides for free downloading, so invest in a QR scanner if you don't have one on your phone. Wifi was free and good. Make sure to bring a water bottle, as the fountains in the buildings and outside are a bit awkward to use. All in all, worth the trip.

Absolutely fabulous space with so many engaging exhibits. It is surprising how fresh and modern the whole place feels yet it was constructed around 1995, I think (!?). We took children ages 10, 8 and 3 who are often troublesome to keep entertained in “museums”, however we stayed for about 5 hours and the price is reasonable for the amount on offer. The bio dome would cost at least as much as the combined ticket in other locations and countries. Very good value and a great day out, with plenty of outdoor space too. 🔭🧪🔬
