The architecture and story of this church is amazing. You cannot always enjoy the insides, but it is spectacular enough from afar. Dress warmly unless it's summer

The Church of the Assumption * Tamajon (Guadalajara) This Romanesque church preserves the original south wall in which there are 13th century corbels and an arcaded gallery with semicircular arches with cross vaults, the tower is from the 17th century The arcaded gallery exhibits nine openings to the south, the seven most eastern ones being newly built, probably built in the 16th century. The other two show a more irregular ashlar and undoubtedly much older, which has led to consider them as belonging to the original gallery. The first is a wide round arch supported by jambs, while the second is narrower and supported by jambs in which columns have been simulated. To the west there are two other entrance openings to the gallery formed by pointed arches that support a central pillar formed by four attached columns and a capital.
