Erected for the most part in the second half of the 16th century, it is Renaissance in style and has a single nave. The walls were built in stone with masonry buttresses, and it has two interesting vaults: that of the trapezoid-shaped apse, and that of the chancel which is starry. With a square appearance and a vaulted staircase, the west-facing bell tower is the most outstanding architectural element and on the cusp it preserves the 1509 inscription, the year in which construction began. Under an austere porticoed atrium, the entrance gate to the church is located to the south and has simple moldings.
