We have done the guided visit to the Monfragüe Park, with Luis, our guide. It has been spectacular. We have been able to see and hear the bellowing of male deer and also numerous females and fawns, we have seen a fox, black vultures, griffons, Egyptian vultures, gray herons, black stork, Bonelli's eagle, red kite, etc. Such a pleasure for the senses. We have been able to enjoy the spectacular landscapes and the beautiful pasture, all illustrated and guided by Luis and his contributions. A true professional and in love with his work. Coming here and not doing the excursion is not really knowing this fantastic place.
A great luxury. Luis is a fantastic guide, he explains wonderful fauna and flora. It is true that a visit of these characteristics to Monfragüe is going to depend a lot on luck and that you have many bugs to see. But it helps a lot to be accompanied by a person who tells everything with such enthusiasm.
They give you binoculars per person and they also mount a telescope. The visit lasts about 3 hours but they fly by.
I recommend 100% and it seems like a great idea to make a gift. I hope to be able to repeat one day.
Made a bird trip this morning with Rutas por Monfragüe. Our guide Jose Luis García Jerez really amazed us by the beautiful nature. Detailed explanation and visited fantastic beautiful places.
Lots of vultures and even spotted a few eagles.
If we now open a bottle of wine, we also know the story of the cork oak.

The route takes a long time, around 3 hours and is short. If you like nature it is a spectacular place. Birds of prey, deer and various other animals are seen, as well as very beautiful landscapes. In addition, the guide is very friendly and explains everything very well, you can tell that he knows a lot. Totally recommendable.
Incredible excursion. On the same day we saw Bonelli's eagles and black storks as well as deer vultures (some we did not see but we heard them, bellowing) etc ...
