It is an office of the State Public Employment Service (autonomous body attached to the Ministry of Labor, which together with the Public Employment Services of the Autonomous Communities - with which they usually share locally - form the National Employment System). There are 759 nationwide distributed in 52 provinces. I believe that they are a failure at the national level, in terms of their role and in regard to the development of employment policy. As for the Lugo Sur employment office, I think it is one more office.

They do not have a direct phone, you call and they catch you in Madrid, for everything in the end you have to go there even staying a mile away since the towns have to go there too.
