Only a year after a reparation, in a routine service we were told that pieces from the reparation needed to be replaced due to wear. The car had barely been used due to home confinement caused by Covid.
After the first reparation the car had to be returned because you could see some parts were still clearly broken. Not being a mechanic we were left with the doubt of how well the rest of the reparation had been done. These doubts were cleared up with the later problems the car was giving.
This experience has really put me off ever buying a new car from Renault again. The terms of purchase obliged that all services and repairs be done through Renault mechanics which now makes sense as nobody would willing choose such low quality at such high prices.
My recommendation would be to steer clear of Renault products and services.
