Generally, MB official workshops are characterized by good customer service. I have not really seen a workshop that takes this issue more to the letter. Since you ask for appointments, the treatment at reception by all the advisors, quality of the repairs, etc., the quality and the treatment is outstanding. More than once I have had a problem due to deadlines, travel and they have always given me a solution. I see price complaints, but they are the official ones following the MB scales. I tell you my experience.
I took my C220 Cdi.
They install the new handle-handle of the driver's door that did not go.
The car was delivered 7 days later (invoice of € 850, without anyone to explain neither the invoice nor the work carried out) with a fault: the window closure with control from the outside does not work, which I discover when I get to my home, fault that I did not have when I delivered the car. I also find now that the burglar alarm is not working either.
It looks like the workshop has damaged the device that captures the command signal to raise and lower the windows, when they removed the inner lining of the door and the handle where this device is installed precisely.
They give me a budget of € 500 if I want to carry out this repair.
For me, the responsibility lies with the workshop for any carelessness or error that has produced this fault.
I withdraw the car from the workshop and express my complaint that I will also make in writing to Mercedes Spain.
€ 160 for diagnosing the car, a theft. I took the car and they warned me that if I did not accept the budget, I would have to pay 1.5 hours and I wonder ... How did they know what was happening to the car and that it would take 1.5 hours to diagnose it? Very simple that is the amount that I will charge you for just putting the car in the workshop. Those prices are a shame in the times that we are with so much competition, of course I was the one who was a fool for leaving the car there. Last time, don't wait for me.
I went to buy a car recommended by them from another branch, they valued the one I was carrying and they still have not given me the result of the assessment, promising that they would tell me in a couple of days. Fatal the operation. President D. Julian is a very good person and a better professional.
