A hide gem of a castle. A cryptic start to the trail but lovely views from the castle mound. The second part of the trail was extremely hard to follow and seemed to have been washed out by a flood.

The route and the views are beautiful .. But the castle itself is 4 walls, richly destroyed ..

Beautiful. Its battlements and towers are majestic, the parade ground is great. If I could I would go every day to delight myself with its drawbridge, moat, chapel. Incredible ... I wish it were true but it is an uncared for and unmaintained landmark, with bad access and full of borriqueros thistles.
