Pretty bridge but there are so many brambles on either side it makes it impossible to get a pic from a good angle....a shame

Alcanzorla Bridge of Muslim origin, over the Guadarrama River in the town of Galapagar. A quiet place to admire the bridge and the surroundings. It would be advisable for the people who visit it not to climb on it, the photos can be taken anyway. Let's take care of the wonders we have.
El ERMITAÑO. (12/11/2020)
Of possible Roman origin because it is located in the probable transversal itinerary of a Roman road, the existing remains correspond to a medieval bridge. It is a stone bridge of reduced width (about 3 meters) founded on rock, and consisting of a single eye formed by a semicircular arch vault, of about ten meters. Only the arches and the arch of the vault, built in voussoir ashlar masonry, by means of voussoirs of considerable dimensions and perfect workmanship and rigging, are preserved.
