Very tasty tasting menu Our unique room package at the hotel also included a tasting menu in this restaurant - and as in other Paradores, we were not disappointed. The very good and courteous service brought the very well put together menu including the corresponding wines in a very good manner, so that we were completely satisfied after the five courses.

Disappointment. Celebration dinner with the family. You can't say the food was bad, but it wasn't exciting either. The environment a little cold and a little neglected. The service tried to be pleasant but in some details you could tell that they lacked experience. Maybe a bad night. High price for what is offered.

I had a pending visit for many years. In the nineties many friends had told me very well about him. And yesterday we finally went. The truth is that we left somewhat disappointed perhaps because we expected so much. First of all a waiter who almost recriminates us that there were no plates on the table to put the bread. Anyway, that is anecdotal because afterwards he changed his mood and, in addition, his companions were very friendly. We ordered the chickpea stew, quite acceptable and the tripe with nose, a bit loose for many others we have tried. Then a bull's tail in good point but very, very weak in flavor, and also cold. A cooked rice that was perhaps the best and terrible overheated crumbs, tremendously greasy, with sausage and blood sausage like stone cardboard and with a grilled egg instead of fried. To emphasize that the price was very good and that the place is spectacular. Anyway, as I say, maybe we expected too much. Of course for the poor food, for the acceptable service and for the spectacular place.
