Interesting museum. Well preserved and conditioned. I was struck, however (hence my regular assessment), the indifferent attention given by the people who attended him, especially the attention given by the person located at the entrance counter. Upon our arrival, this person was on the phone. We asked him for an information brochure on the collection and he indicated with signs (while he was answering the phone) that they did not have this item. When we left the museum and returned to the place of departure, we met again with this person, who remained at the counter, without a telephone, but with the same attitude of indifference towards the visitor. I do not know if all this is due to the fact that the museum is "free" (I do not know if citizen taxes can be classified with this name). If this is the case, I would suggest changing the concept "free" (via taxes) to charge a ticket and receive visitors / income on the merits of the management / attention of those responsible for the museum. I think the current management model is much more expensive and culturally inefficient. A shame

Beautiful museum of the painter from Vitoria who settled in Estella, leaving his paintings for the municipality of Estella. The museum located next to the Camino de Santiago in a beautiful palace, has a wide retrospective of the painter's work.Free admission.

In addition to contemplating the work of Maetzu, it is worth enjoying the recovery that has been made of the building, and also for free!

Great museum to learn about Gustavo de Maeztu's work. Beautiful building with its own history and attentive and perfectly informed staff, telling you the smallest detail.
