The oldest working furnace in Europe ....... and it was closed, seriously ??

The traditional "Forn de la Vila" dates from 1246 and is the oldest operating oven in Europe. Maintain the same original structure as its primitive, communal character, on the ground floor and where two openings with its two arches open in one of its walls, one semi-circular and the other pointed, where the two wood-burning ovens are located. One of them is not in use, but the other has kept working until today. It is one of the three medieval furnaces that remain standing in the Els Ports region.
