The Church of the Assumption of Mary, in the municipality of Forcall in the Valencian region of the Ports, is a catholic parochial temple. It is a building built on the old Gothic church (from the 13th century) that was destroyed during the Carlist wars (nineteenth century) and it was only possible to take advantage of the presbytery. Outside, there are windows, gargoyles and rosette, all of them Gothic and in the interior a presbytery with original temples and false gyro from behind.

The parish of Forcall, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin, would be born with the Christian conquest of the place at the beginning of the 13th century. Aldea de Morella, Forcall received a letter from Puebla in 1246, a year in which the parish was supposed to work. Nothing remains of that first medieval temple, and little of the different reforms that it has undergone in the following centuries, because the church was practically destroyed during the first Carlist War, in 1835. The temple was soon rebuilt, in a sober neoclassical style, being finished in 1850, as it appears on its façade. The most outstanding element that survived from previous eras is the bell tower. With 55 meters high, it dates from the middle of the 18th century.
