When we went, it was completely open (it was 3:00 p.m.) and it seems that it remained that way for his visit and to be able to pray before the Blessed Sacrament, something very much to be appreciated because it is normal to find the temples closed. Construction began in 1580 and at the beginning it was dedicated to Our Lady of Velilla. The altarpiece is in the pre-churrigeresque style. Outside there is a park with good trees and a fountain, where you can rest and have some sandwiches if you are near any of the nearby beaches.

The environment is a charming town. The church seems humble and beautiful with some bells that put some cucumbers that will hear them in the Vatican! The virgin of the lamb ... How those bells sound. They have to be the pride of the whole province. Seriously I was spellbound at the ten o'clock call, until they stopped ringing ...

Interesting monument. Temple known as the Virgin of Latas. Celebrate your party on September 8. Of great tradition in Loredo and Somo.
