Amazing archaeological site

Reading the reviews here I tell you. It is an archaeological site, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. That it is a cave does not mean that it can be visited by the general public. And this for reasons of security, complexity of access, operability and because it is still under study, its visit is not allowed. However, in archaeological season, usually from July to September, there is a laboratory ship on the nearby road that has a lot of information and that serves as a small interpretation center and where they attend to anyone interested in knowing the site. And free.

First level archaeological site. Unfortunately, the cave cannot be accessed for preservation reasons, which is logical. Access is difficult and not indicated, so I do not recommend the visit. Instead, you can visit the Archaeological Museum of Santander, where materials found in the cave are exhibited.
