Sopelana, like every FEVE or Euskotren station I have had the pleasure to have visited has been clean, well signposted and where manned the staff have been helpful and friendly. As an independent lone cyclist, navigating my way along the Costa Verde these stations are a wonderful addition to my travel options and I have always been allowed to bring my fully loaded touring bike on board. Finally, it has to be noted that from the perspective of someone from the UK, the prices for travel on this network is ludicrously low, with trips costing a couple of Euros for some quite long journeys and the trip from the French border to Bilbao which took 4 hours or so, only cost 6 Euros!
Hello! A town that is getting bigger every day in it lives younger people but every time it is used as a dormitory city people leave in the morning and return at night but in general I really like there are many shops bars cafes restaurants where you can choose beautiful terraces to rest peacefully taking any combination or beer town highly recommended greetings.
A beautiful beach, don't miss it !!!
