We arrived in Ontinyent in Feb 2020 and parish staff and regulars have been extremely welcoming. The Church itself according to web history was largely rebuilt on the 1600s on the site of an earlier church from the 1300 which was a converted mosque - although largely 17th C now, signs of the old mosque are still visible if you know what to look for.
