I went for the Bodas de Isabel de Seguro, the largest Medieval Festival in Spain. It was wonderful! The local residents dress in medieval costumes, there is a wooden Ferris wheel, an old-time carousel, hundreds of food stalls, vendors of all kinds, and thousands of visitors from all over. The festival takes part all over the city. It's fascinating and well-worth a visit. My only complaint is that a menu del día is 20 euros, as opposed to the usual 8 to 10 euros. All the food prices are grossly marked up. They have a captive audience and this is the main moneymaker of the year, of course. Still, one feels cheated. I do highly recommend a visit for the festival. You can bring your own picnic, of course!

A cozy little town. A good place to spend the day. Much Mudejar and fantastic people.

I've been coming for a few years and I love it. The downside are the train and bus schedules. Quiet and clean and with many things to visit.

Nice city, with Mudejar style and very well preserved. It has several tapas options and two very beautiful squares, it is like spending a whole day and from there visit Albarracin.
