Easy access airport, beautiful terminals that really capture the light of the Costa del Sol........like many public toilets, dirty dirty dirty, security is not that friendly either, lot of people standing around making jokes towards passengers......so close to being an amazing airport, lots of potential
The assistance for my wife from the aircraft through the whole airport to the car park was very efficient and friendly.nThe various check pints were again friendly, helpful and welcoming and in these difficult times that is a bonus.nThe airport was clean well staffed but eerily quiet.nAll in all a very good experience.
Excellently laid out for situation with COVID, security fast with many lanes open despite being quiet and airport very clean. Additionally, airport lounge was excellent with food now ordered from menu.
By default it is one of the best airport I visited. When you arrive, you feel that you are in a shopping mall. You can use the time between arrival and baggage claim into shopping. Malaga is the best place to visit with a lot of attractions around. It has more than 20 Beatles to enjoy. Also it is near Granada. Ashbia and other beautiful places to visit. It is family place where you can shop, enjoy nature and a lot of other things to do. You can not fade up from staying in such beautiful place. I stayed there around 10 days and it was not enough. It is cheap place and value of money is very high.
Unprofessional border control management. Around 100-200 people were lining to get the border control when only 3 or 4 window operated VERY SLOWLY. After the half an hour of waiting, a random group of people have been sent in front of us, because their plane was due. Guess what, it was the same plane the other people were lining for. We didn't even see that person who sent them there and even the officers didn't know what to do.nnAfter this, at the gate one of the staff was shouting at a group of travellers which could easily be the travellers fault, but you would expect some professionals and letting the people through instead of shouting. This was actually just a few minutes but before this at the border control... I usually arrive around 1.5 - 2 hours before my flight if I don't have a checked in baggage but I really recommend you to come to this airport even earlier because you can spend a lot of time in a line that is usually fast in other airports.
