This hermitage was built by Juan José Moreno y Palancas, one of the illustrious figures of Moral de Calatrava. A century later the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Solitude and Brotherhood of the Santa Veracruz takes charge of her and is open to the cult. During this time it was barn, cellar, dance hall and even jail.nIts majestic façade, where neomudéjar and neoclassical styles are combined, leaves no visitor indifferent.nThe exterior contrasts with the simplicity of the interior, where the use of light tones transmits peace and luminosity.nThere are still several original images that were hidden by neighbors to prevent their destruction during the war. Like the original image of the Virgen de la Soledad, although this is in a private house.
