The lady in charge of the office is extraordinarily friendly and knowledgeable. Not only did she describe to us a detailed itinerary around town and the surrounding points of interests---she also was able to reply to very detailed questions about the town and the juderia's history.nnBeyond the history books, she also had a deep knowledge of oral tradition in town. She gave phone calls for us to locals and made it possible for us to visit a specific place of family importance to us. She could not have been any nicer!nnShe also introduced us to a delicious local dulce that appears to be of ladino tradition, mormenteras, with almonds, honey, and anis: highly recommended!

The girl who attended us was very professional. He convinced us to stay all day. It is not easy to convince me unless you have very good arguments, and to my surprise it did. Alcántara has very good ways to go around the city walls, with dogs, go down to the bridge, see its arches from below and see many little things that are not usually seen at the top, go up and go up and then visit the impressive quarry, and the mehir . The old town is cool, although it needs a lot of investment in conditioning.

Good information and attention. The person in charge clear and precise in the explanations. Only one complaint: They have moved the office next to the town hall, but everywhere it is still indicated at the entrance of Alcantara ... That must be updated!
