MANUEL MONTEAGUDO ORELLANA.nI express this writing referring to your answer on the presumable transparency that you mention.nIt seems to me that from his point of view, when compared with the salaries of other organizations, it falls by its own weight, a rather poor defense since the vast majority of NGOs do and act at their own risk, in this way the salaries are not set by volunteers or nobody is yourself or the entire management team. And that year after year they increase it at your convenience. Of course everything is reflected in a file that everyone can consult, I must clarify that this file consists of 42 pages. And only when you reach page 38 does this figure come along with others that it does not mention in its defense. It happens that everyone who starts to read these files when they reach page 3 no one reads it, this usually happens throughout. Referring to the fact that it does not charge per diems, it may or may not be true, hence you have to be transparent. On the other hand, it does not clarify what the entire executive leadership contributes to social security, specifically, if I am not mistaken, you contribute 1,800 euros per month, which tells me that this is ensuring a very good pension. If this is not the case, it should also be verified so as not to cause false understandings. Another clarification is that all the NGOs, yours was not going to be less receive scandalous subsidies and these do not shine for their transparency either. Another point is that in the state of alarm due to the pandemic, tens of hundreds of thousands of people have donated books for hospitalized patients and at no time or article have I seen that your NGO has contributed to this. Therefore, solidarity goes through neighborhoods.nI must also tell you that taking a month to answer the volunteer María López leaves much to be desired for in that long time to have this poor defense, although it must be recognized that there are always many more important things to do.
Good time looking for something to bring to the eyes. Good cause and you read cheap
It seems like a great initiative to me, the prices are unbeatable and they have a good variety, you find real gems. The staff is very friendly and as if that were not enough, sanitary measures are exceptionally respected, I am not a resident but I still plan to return. Highly recommended
Very neat second hand bookstore. If they have what you are looking for, perfect because the prices are very low
In my opinion they take too much advantage of the poor volunteers who go there with the best of intentions. I am not one to say what to volunteer for but you have to realize when you do volunteer work and when you do someone's paid work (it is true that you go when you want but what difference is there with a clerk at La Casa del Libro .. .). In short, it is a very non-transparent 'NGO' and that the best profit they make is from the pockets of senior managers, all at the expense of volunteers and donations made by people.nnBefore donating books here, I would go to other bookstores in the city that at least have their workers hired. It is true that there is a good variety and cheap books (normal, with the few costs that they have ...), but without a doubt I would go a thousand times before to other bookstores in the same city. I hope these kinds of bookstores that prey on people disappear soon.nnGreetings to those who do selfless work and all the nice volunteers, and a few greetings to those who take advantage of them.
