Loved the gothic architecture, Spanish tiles and orange trees! This is such a charming monastery hidden away in Toledo. Come for the beautiful ceiling arches and the orange trees in the courtyard!nnNote: Visit prior to COVID, so things may have changed.

Great histoeical architecture! Especially loved the tiled floors and sculpted ceilings and walls! Entry fee was only EUR3

The outside doesn’t do justice to the inside.nThe cloisters area is beautiful and clearly perfect for the monasterial life. Practical to as the open garden sits over a water cistern.nThe church was left in a bad way by the conquering armies of Napoleon. But it has been restored sympathetically.nThere is an audio guide you can access using your mobile phone. So take headphones. The instructions are clear and straightforward.nIt’s a good visit for the money, €3.

Limited accessibility within the monastery, however has plenty of history to share. Worth every minute spent. Beautiful courtyard and interior architecture. The cathedral is nothing short of spectacular

We had a short visit. It is worth to visit. You get a free audio guide over wifi. It has a beautiful patio. The churich itself is a beautiful old historically building.
